Places to see

Triphos Waterfalls
A verdant, unspoilt area known as Loutra Tryfos lies half the way between Amfilochia and Vonitsa, about 8km north-west of the village of Tryfos and 8km south of the coastal settlement of Loutraki.

Necromanteion
The Nekromanteion (Greek: Νεκρομαντεῖον) was an ancient Greek temple of necromancy devoted to Hades and Persephone.

Nicopolis
City of Victory or Actia Nicopolis was the capital city of the Roman province of Epirus Vetus. It is located near Preveza, Greece. The city was founded in 29 BC by Octavian in commemoration of his victory in 31 BC over Antony and Cleopatra at the Battle of Actium nearby.

Meteora
The Monastery of the Holy Trinity is an Eastern Orthodox monastery in central Greece, situated in the Peneas Valley northeast of the town of Kalambaka.
The monastery was featured in the 1981 James Bond film For Your Eyes Only and also features in the 1961 film Tintin and the Golden Fleece.
